Martial Arts

Warriors Program: Ages 7-12

Age-based classes allow children to develop skills with similarly sized students who are at comparable skill levels, ensuring children are comfortable, confident, and have a good experience every time they are in a class at Kismet.

Warriors Gi - White or black gi and belt to denote rank.

Warriors - Basic

Weekly Classes: 2 Core; 1 Grappling & 1 Open Mat - Orange Belts
Intended for school-aged children, this white belt program introduces children to basic martial arts techniques and skills in a structured class that focuses on improving balance, coordination, and strength. All Junior Warriors will have character-development goals associated with advancement to the Junior Warriors - Intermediate program.

Warriors - Basic Rank Advancement

Warriors - Basic students earn belts to denote rank. Belts are earned in the following order:

  • White
  • Two Tone - White & Yellow
  • Yellow with Orange Stripe
  • Orange

Warriors - Intermediate, Ages 7-12

Weekly Classes: 2 Core; 1 Grappling; 1 Sparring; 1 Open Mat
Intended for school-aged children, this intermediate program reinforces martial arts techniques and skills, while helping children to improve in their practice and advance in rank through the acquisition of more challenging skills. All Warriors have character development goals associated with advancement to the higher ranks within the program and eventual advancement into the Teens program.

Warriors - Intermediate Rank Advancement

Warriors - Intermediate students earn belts to denote rank.

Belts are earned in the following order:

  • Purple
  • Blue
  • Blue with Green Stripe
  • Green
  • Green with Brown Stripe
  • Brown
  • 2nd Degree Brown
  • Two Tone - Red & Black
